Terms of Use

These terms are between you and DATA SHAKER LTD (company number 16042604), registered in England and Wales. ReelGifts is the name of the website. It is not a separate company. The registered office is 14 Russell Street, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 5EA, United Kingdom.

By using ReelGifts you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can use ReelGifts

ReelGifts is intended for users aged 16 and over, including someone who opens a voting link. If you are under 16, please do not use the site. ReelGifts does not ask for a date of birth, and it does not check or verify your age.

You may search for gifts for recipients of any age, including children. A child’s age band, interests, or other details are information about the recipient. They do not make that child a ReelGifts user.

The service

ReelGifts helps you look for gift ideas in the browser. You can set an occasion, who the gift is for, a vibe and a budget, and you can add optional details. The site suggests kinds of gifts. You can save favourites in My Stash and share a link so friends can vote.

There is no email registration and no paid plan. ReelGifts does not sell, ship, or refund products. It does not take payment. There is no checkout and no subscription.

Gift suggestions

Gift ideas are generated to match the choices you make. They are suggestions, not a catalogue and not a checked shop listing. A suggestion can describe a kind of gift that is not for sale, is out of stock, or costs something other than the estimate you see.

An estimated price on an idea is a guide so the idea can sit in a budget band. It is not a price from a shop, and it is not a promise that a product exists at that price.

You are responsible for checking that a gift is suitable, safe, and appropriate for the person you are buying for, including a child. Check the retailer’s price, stock, delivery, age guidance and returns before you buy.

Where to buy

Some saved gifts may show Where to buy. A link there, when it goes to a real retailer, leaves ReelGifts. The purchase, including payment, delivery and any refund, is with that retailer under the retailer’s terms. ReelGifts is not the seller.

Not every idea has a retailer link. A link is not a promise that the product exists, is in stock, or is the best or cheapest choice. Sample links used while the feature is being built are not live shop offers. Read the Affiliate Disclosure before you treat a link as a shop link.

My Stash and Friend Voting

Ideas you keep stay with the search they came from. You can name a search. You are responsible for the words you type, including notes and search names, and for deciding who receives a voting link.

Anyone with an open voting link can see the gift titles and descriptions on that poll. They cannot see your notes from the link. Friends do not need a ReelGifts session to vote. Voting does not place an order, and it does not choose the gift for you.

Do not share a link if the titles would reveal something private. ReelGifts cannot pull back a page someone has already opened or copied.

Acceptable use

Use ReelGifts for choosing gifts. Do not:

• break the law, or ask the service to help you do so
• submit information you are not allowed to share
• try to read someone else’s searches, polls or votes
• flood the service, scrape it, or bypass a limit
• probe, disrupt or overload the site or its database

ReelGifts may limit how many ideas or voting links can be created, so the service stays available for everyone. Those limits can change. They are not a credit balance and they are not something you can buy.

Intellectual property

DATA SHAKER LTD owns the ReelGifts name, the look of the site, and the software. You keep the text you type. You allow us to use that text to run the service, including storing it, sending it to the provider that writes gift ideas, and showing gift titles you choose to share on a voting link.

Gift suggestions are for your own gift choosing. Do not copy the service, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing dataset.

Availability

We aim to keep ReelGifts available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, pause or stop features. Because the service is free and does not take payment, stopping it does not create a refund from ReelGifts. A retailer’s refund rules are separate, and they apply only to a purchase you make with that retailer.

Deleting your data

You can use Delete My Data on the welcome screen or in My Stash. What that removes, and what it cannot remove, is explained in the Privacy Policy. You can also email privacy@reelgifts.app.

Law and consumer rights

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in them removes rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or other UK consumer law, where those rights apply.

If you live outside the United Kingdom, including in Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, you may have mandatory local rights that these terms cannot take away. If you are a consumer, you may also be able to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live, where the law gives you that choice.
