Gift shopping should be fun. So why does it sometimes feel like hard work?
We've all been there. A birthday, anniversary or special occasion is coming up, and you want to find someone a gift they'll genuinely love.
But where do you start?
For me, it often meant heading into town on a busy weekend, wandering through crowded shops, hoping something would catch my eye.
And even when I found something promising, I'd start second-guessing myself. Is it thoughtful enough? Is there something better? Will they actually like it?
What should have been a lovely gesture had somehow turned into a stressful task.
That's why I created ReelGifts.
Turning the gift hunt into something enjoyable
I wanted to see if I could turn the whole experience around.
Instead of wandering through shops or scrolling endlessly through product listings, what if finding gift inspiration could feel more like playing a game?
That's where the idea of ReelGifts came from.
Spin the reels, tell us a little about who you're buying for, and discover personalised gift ideas you might never have thought of yourself.
Keep the ones you love, skip the ones you don't, and build a shortlist at your own pace.
And if you're anything like me and find it difficult to make that final decision, you can even invite your friends to vote on their favourites.
Because sometimes a second opinion makes all the difference.
Less overthinking. More gift-giving joy.
ReelGifts isn't about finding the most expensive present or the most obvious choice.
It's about discovering something thoughtful, surprising or simply perfect for the person you have in mind.
My hope is that ReelGifts takes some of the pressure out of gift shopping and brings back the fun.
No crowded shops. No endless searching. Just a little inspiration, a few spins, and hopefully that wonderful feeling when you think:
