ReelGifts is operated by DATA SHAKER LTD. This page lists the browser storage the website writes today. It is the companion to the Privacy Policy.
What ReelGifts itself stores
The ReelGifts application code does not set its own cookie. It uses local storage, which stays until you clear it, and session storage, which usually lasts until you close the tab. The Supabase session is configured to use local storage rather than a cookie.

Older development keys may still be cleared if they are found: reelgifts.giftSearches.v1, reelgifts.stash.v1, reelgifts.context.v1 and reelgifts.wheels.v1. Current searches are not kept in those keys.
Some choices, such as an unsaved reel draft, stay in memory for the visit and are not written to storage until a search is saved.
Other services that the browser contacts
Marketing pages and the app load Fredoka and Nunito from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser sends that request, including its IP address, to Google. Whether Google sets a cookie on that request is not something this repository can confirm.
Vercel hosts the site and Supabase provides the database. Either provider may set a cookie or keep a connection log. The ReelGifts code does not turn on Vercel Analytics, and it does not add an advertising pixel. This page does not claim that those providers set no cookies of their own.
Analytics, advertising and affiliate cookies
ReelGifts does not currently set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or affiliate-tracking cookies. Sample retailer links do not add affiliate click identifiers.
If analytics, advertising or affiliate cookies are added later, ReelGifts will ask for consent first where UK rules require it, and this page will be updated before those cookies are switched on.
Why there is no cookie banner
UK rules require consent before non-essential cookies and similar storage are used. Storage that is strictly necessary for a service you ask for is different.
The keys above are used to keep the session, continue a search, remember a shopping market, reopen a poll, or keep one vote to one browser. On that basis a consent banner is not used today. That conclusion covers storage ReelGifts writes. It still needs a check that Vercel, Supabase and Google Fonts are not setting non-essential cookies of their own.
Clearing storage
You can clear site data for reelgifts.app in your browser settings. That removes the session, the search pointer, the shopping market, voting secrets and the voter identifier from that browser.
Clearing storage does not, by itself, delete searches from the database. The browser can no longer present the session that Delete My Data uses. A new visit can start a new session, and the earlier one may be left behind. Use Delete My Data first if you want the stored searches removed. The Privacy Policy explains the limit, and what to do if the session has already been cleared.
Delete My Data removes the Supabase session keys, the active search pointer, the voting secret and the voter identifier. It does not remove the shopping-market choice. Clearing site data does.
Clearing the voting secret can mean this browser can no longer open results for a poll it created.
